Use your environment!

Check out local resources in NYC at "What's free or cheap in NYC?" also, visit your local library or community center and ask them about local activities.

Your Environment

Learn more about what is happening in your local area. Call every museum and school (especially colleges), or visit their websites, and ask about classes and internships for homeschooled children. If you are looking for a specific internship, Google a search for that in your area (example: marine biology internship NYC, or theater intern Philadelphia). Speak to your neighbors, visit your local shops and services, and learn about what's in your own backyard. You might find a great internship opportunity or "after-school" job at your local vet or pet store!
