When spring arrived we held class in the park whenever the weather permitted. Teaching fairytales in the park was an experience of pure delight! On our last day of class we celebrated with Crazy Hair and Sock Day. We played storytelling games, colored in the covers of our latest publication (the summer issue of the Seasonal Portfolio), showed off our handmade fairytale books, and read from our own work. At the last moment, the girls gifted me with a book of their original poems, letters and illustrations, which I found quite moving.

See Classes & Lectures for more information on this and other writing classes.
